{Real Wedding} Keri and Greg

How is it almost May already?  We have been so wrapped up with our amazing spring weddings, time is just flying by!  I can not wait to show off what we have been up to these last few months.  Forgive us if it takes a little longer than usual, we are loving our hectic spring schedule full of designing, planning, and producing!

Meet Keri and Greg.  I just adore this couple.  Upon first meeting Keri, and her familiar face from Fox7 News, I thought she had the most radiant, contagious smile I’d ever seen.  She is such a happy person and is someone you just want to be around.  I did not get the pleasure of meeting Greg until the wedding weekend, but as soon as I officially met him, I knew he was just the perfect fit for her.  Keri always described him as someone who never knew a stranger.

Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful.  Not even an unexpected, cold, rainy day in Austin could put a damper on their celebration.  Tyler, with The Mill Photography Studio, captured all the fun from all the small details like the real turf grass for the escort cards, to Bevo’s grand appearance (Greg use to be a Spur in college).  So, I hope you enjoy this adorable couple as much as I did.

Plus, I have to leave you with a few of her bridals =stunning!

Kudos to our fabulous vendors: The Mill Photography Studio, University of Texas Golf Club, Lee Warth Designs and The Argyles

Happy Friday,

{Engaged} Kristi and Adam

I am so excited to share a little bit about this adorable couple, who will be getting married in August.  Although they do not live in Austin, they were able to take some time off and capture some amazing engagement photos here a few weekends ago.  Meet, Kristi and Adam…

{How we met}
When I first moved to Phoenix, I was eager to meet people and make friends so I joined a local soccer team. Adam happened to be on the same team. I would see Adam every Sunday night for a soccer game. Occasionally Adam would try to flirt with me, but I was dating someone else at the time so I paid no attention to Adams advances. Months went by and it wasn’t until almost a  year later that I had planned Spring Break backpacking trip into the Grand Canyon. I had someone in the group back out at the last minute and I offered up the empty spot to my friends on the soccer team. Adam agreed to go on the trip. Needless to say, we fell in love camping in the Grand Canyon.
{The Engagement}
Adam booked a trip for us to celebrate my graduation from grad school in Maui last September. Our first night in Maui, Adam popped the question on the beach at Sunset. It was the most beautiful moment, and I was the happiest girl in the world.
{Why Austin}
Adam was born and raised in Austin and even attended the University of Texas. I grew up an Air Force brat and so we had spent most of my life moving from place to place. My family currently resides in Florida so since Adam and I live in Phoenix, Austin seemed like the perfect place to “meet in the middle.”
{Favorite thing to do together in Austin}
We love to eat! Adam and I love Maria’s Taco Express, Maudies and The Salt Lick. We also love watching UT sports.
{What we are looking forward come wedding day}
I can’t wait until all our friends and family finally get to meet, eat and party together!
{Our wedding theme}
I would name our wedding “Summer Garden Party.” We are incorporating lots and oranges and yellows into the wedding and we plan on providing a fun, laid back environment for our guests to enjoy.
{Plans for after the wedding}
Adam and I plan to honeymoon in the South Pacific. We are thinking Bora Bora or Fiji.
36th Street can not wait until August to see everything come together.  Images taken by Thatcher Photography.
Happy Friday!

{Featured} Meghan + Breck ~ Style Me Pretty

Oh how I LOVVVVVVE these two! When I found out that Meghan and Breck’s “black tie backyard” AMOA Laguna Gloria wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty last week I was head over heels excited and couldn’t wait to share it with everyone! Here are a few of my favorite photos from Half Orange Photography, but be sure and check out the feature post on SMP for many more drool-worthy pics.

{Real Wedding} Jaclyn and Charles

On a day like today, when it’s not so beautiful out here in Austin, this beautiful couple and wedding will surely brighten up your day!

Jaclyn interned with 36th Street a few years ago, and we were so excited to be a part of her wedding in January.  She has exquisite taste, so she made our job easy.  You are going to love this wedding.   Caroline + Ben Photography  really captured the love and joy of their wedding.  Their dancing pictures are priceless, and you can’t help but smile.
